Washingborugh Hall in the snow is a scene fit for a magical winter
wedding. The romantic Georgian Grade II listed rectory is an idyllic
venue, elegantly designed with classic décor and period hues – perfect
for an authentic house party celebration.

The hall and grounds provide a picture-perfect setting, just three
miles from the Roman city of Lincoln. With beautiful south-facing
reception rooms overlooking manicured lawns, a Gothic stone garden
pavilion and a pretty dovecote, there are plenty of fabulous photo
opportunities all year round. Sympathetically restored by the current
owners, with sumptuous soft furnishings, artefacts and original artwork
throughout, the house oozes historic grandeur but with a cosy,
family vibe.

Say ‘I do’ in the elegant Dining Room with its ornate plasterwork and
period features, with up to 70 guests or tie the knot in the powder blue
Sibthorpe Room, surrounded by 50 of your nearest and dearest.
Alternatively, for those planning a traditional religious ceremony, the
village church is next door.

Yours exclusively for the big day, the venue can host a reception for
up to 120 of your friends and family. Decked with evergreen foliage,
seasonal blooms and real fir Christmas trees, it’s the ideal festive
backdrop. A log burning stove in the reception hall provides a cheery
welcome for your guests and warm fruit punch is sure to go down well
for a winter drinks reception.
