We had heard positive comments about the restaurant and booked on friends' recommendations- we had a delightful evening. Waiting staff were attentive, kind , friendly and courteous , and the food was delicious throughout the meal
(no disappontments. The scallops and crispy pancetta were lovely, the pheasant and partidge utterly delicious.) The dining room was comfortable and just formal enough ( not prissy ) It wasn't cheap but it seemed like good value for money to us.

My boyfriend and i came to the hotel last night (January 25th) for my 19th birthday. We both very much enjoyed the meal. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the fillet of beef was cooked to perfection! We also wanted to stay after the very friendly atmosphere but left it too late to book! We shall definatly be returning. Ten out of ten on friendliness of staff and also to the chef!
 

Arrived at the Hotel on a snowy January day. Walked in reception to be greated by a roaring log fire. (Which was a pleasure to sit and read by during our stay). The welcome from the staff was just as warm. We were shown to the room with the upmost professionalism. A really fantastic room very large, and decorated to the finest standards. Also the cleanliness was superb. Every attention to detail taken with cleaning. The amount of Hotels I walk into and feel discust at the standard of the bathroom. Well not here. Large and everything with the feel of quality. The bath was large and the shower powerful. Breakfast cooked brilliantly. It was really plesent sat in the dining room watching the snow. My only regret is that I did not get to use the restaruant for Dinner as I had made arrangements elsewhere. Very well priced by the look of it. Will be staying again and next time for dinner too. Well done and keep up all your hard work it shows through out your hotel. Many Thanks.

My husband and I joined my daughter & husband at the hotel for an evening meal (they were staying in the hotel) on New Year's Day and we were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, lovely atmosphere and excellent food at a very reasonable price . We will definitely use the hotel again for meals.

We had a lovely stay in your relaxing friendly hotel. You have created a wonderful atmosphere where the staff are helpful but professional. The accomodation was tasteful and comfortable and the food was delicious. The overall impression has left us feeling that we want to come again but stay for much longer!

The welcome we recieved from Ness & Helen as we entered the reception
was so warm and friendly , it gave us a really good vibe about the entire
set up, happily we were not dissapointed.
The room was very clean & spacious, maybe a little dated on the decor but
as they say " rome wasn't built in a day"!.
The food we had from the bar menu was very well prepared & absolutely
delicious, compliments to the chef.
It was a most enjoyable weekend & look forward to comming back to stay.

Thank-you so much for making Jack's naming ceremony such a memorable occasion last Sunday. Everything was perfect - the 'afternoon tea' that your chefs prepared was delicious, and the fact that some of it was locally sourced was great. Everyone commented how lovely the food was - particularly the fudge! All the staff were great, but special thanks to Helen and Ash for arranging everything before the day. The renovations you've made to the hotel are great, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Your staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable, and competitively priced compared to the nearby Premier Lodge.

I stay away at many hotels across UK and mainland Europe and would not hesitate to recommend your hotel to any visitors within the Lincoln area - on business or leisure. I just wish it was summer and I could have enjoyed your lovely grounds and surrounding area.

The food was also well cooked and served - my breakfast this morning of pink grapefruit, fresh salmon, scrambled egg and quality brown bread was an absolute favorite of mine - marmite as well!!

I wish you well with your new venture - I have also given your brochure to my clients at nearby RAF Waddington to recommend to their visitors.

If I am in the vicinity in the future I would most definitely stay again.
