My partner and I have just returned home after a fantastic three day trip to Lincoln. Our stay at Washingborough Hall was wonderful, our room could not have been nicer, the food was superb and the staff (especially Ness) are all extremely helpfull and welcoming. The atmosphere at the hotel is that of relaxed splendour, the furnishings are elegant and luxurious. If you need to escape from a busy life this is the place to go. We would not hesitate in reccomending this hotel and believe that it deserves more than the 3 star rating given. For us this was a 5 star experience!

We thank our lucky stars that we found Washingborough Hall for our wedding venue as it was simply amazing in every single way.
We felt that the service we received surpassed that of a 5 Star hotel.

Lucy fully understood our wedding concept even producing her own vintage cake stand for us. Our guests felt at home, the children played happily in the gorgeous grounds and we were looked after from start to finish in a relaxed and fully attentive manner.

The food was absolutely delicious;it was stylishly presented and full on flavour.

The hall is simply beautiful and Lucy's taste is exquisite. Nothing was too much for her and her staff and she really understood little ones needs too.

Washingborough Hall is a very special place and we know that we will be returning often.

 

First of all the staff were very attentive and knew how a hotel should run.
Helen (receptionist) in particular was very good and always had a smile on her face and a very cheerful manner.

I was here for 3 days (including 2 dinners) and the dinners could NOT be faulted. The head chef Dan had produced absolutely first class cuisine (albeit with a limited menu), which looked fantastic and tasted great. The 'summer pudding' is the best I have had.

I hope to be able to return to sample the food on further occasions.

The rooms were a little bit on the small side, being a result of converting each original room into two, however they were beautifully appointed and decorated, having a large flatscreen TV and the usual facilities with en suite bathroom.

Last year we celebrated our wedding at Washingborough Hall. Every girl dreams of being a princess for the day and Lucy and her staff truely made my dream come true. The whole of the day was well planned and organised so that it fulfilled all of our hopes and expectations. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. The meal was designed by us and produced to a terrifically high standard...We could never thank you enough for giving us the lifetime of happy memories you have provided us. Thank you.

After a long trip through Ireland, Scotland and England - I travelled through Lincoln on the last leg of my trip south to London.
A last minute stay at your lovely hotel was a welcome break in my schedule. Last minute simply means that I was not sure whether I would get to Lincoln that evening given the great distance I had travelled on that particular day.
I arrived later in the evening but I was welcomed warmly and a lovely dinner was prepared for me.
The service was impeccable, my room was very comfortable with great facilites and I would recommend your lovely hotel to any traveller who is looking for a quiet oasis to "still themselves" for a day or more.

Just a quick note to say Thank You for such an enjoyable time at Debbie & Steve Wright's Wedding in May 2010.

The surroundings and atmosphere were sencond to none. The food excellent (to die for) and your Staff a credit to you.

Everyone who attended was looked after so well it was a pleasure to stay and arrange for another night at your wonderful hotel.

This lovely hotel with comfortable tasteful furnishings, elegant dining room, excellent chef serving delicious food and friendly staff make it the perfect location for a visit to Lincoln.
