I was speaking to Richard Williams of rkw internet and he asked me when the croquet set will be up.
The answer to Richard’s question is we put it up last week; unfortunately it hasn’t stopped raining in Lincoln since then, so if anybody wants to play a game of croquet we have the balls and mallets but you will have to bring your own scuba gear!

Congratulations to Anna and Michael on their wedding last Saturday from all the staff at Washingborough Hall Hotel, Lincoln. Anna and Michael held their wedding reception here after their marrage ceremony next door at St. Johns Church. We hope you have a wonderful time on your honeymoon diving in Australia.
Also, many thanks to David Lowerson for providing the photograph. This was just one of the many wonderful photographs he took capturing their special day. We would recommend his work to anyone.

Many thanks to Tony Eastwood and Chris Lynch of Small Beer for the invitation to their golf day at Lincoln Golf Club at Torksey on Monday. For those who don’t know, Torksey is between Lincoln and Gainsborough.
I am sure they only invited me to make everyone else look good. It worked! Although my golf could at best, be described as entertaining, I had a great day, good company on a wonderful course and excellent food afterwards.
The competition was won by Greig Butcher of Hopback Brewery who scored 40 points. The team competition was won by Jim Lamin, Matt Fawson, Keith Bolt and Stuart Broxholme.
Also £490.00 was raised for the Captains Charity
Anyone who has never played at Torksey, I can highly recommend it, it is one of the best golf courses in Lincoln and Lincolnshire.

This is our first attempt at blogging, so please excuse any mistakes.
We intend to add events that might be of interest, here at Washingborough Hall and in the Lincoln area. Also ideas and tips for food and wine will be added.
